Policies & Fees

Session Information

Sessions are 50 minutes and are generally held at the same time every week; that way, you never have to wonder if you’ll be able to get in. If you need to cancel, please provide 48 hours notice to avoid being charged the full session fee. If you have to cancel last minute, you have the option to reschedule for another time during the week to avoid paying the fee.

Fees & Insurance

Fees vary depending on the clinician to reflect experience and licensing level.

We do not take insurance and are considered an out-of-network provider. However, many insurance plans will reimburse you for out-of-network mental health services. We are happy to provide a monthly receipt (called a super bill) to submit to your insurance company to make that happen. Please contact your insurance provider to learn more about their policies for reimbursement.

Some questions to ask your insurance company are:

  • Do you provide out-of-network benefits for therapy?
  • How much do you reimburse per session?
  • Do I need to hit my deductible before receiving reimbursement?
  • Is there a limit to the number of sessions you cover?
  • What is the process for submitting claims?
  • What is your policy for reimbursing for telehealth vs. in office visits?

Schedule a Consultation

We offer 30-minute complimentary phone consultations to see if we might be a good fit. We are also happy to provide outside referrals if, for whatever reason, we decide not to proceed.

Good Faith Estimate Notice to Clients and Prospective Clients

Under the law, healthcare providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
