About

If you’re an individual in your 20s or 30s struggling with chronic illness, you’re not alone. Join our upcoming group to be in community and gain support from others like you. To keep the community intimate and supportive, we’ll keep the group to 4-6 people.

Goals

  • Process difficulties of living with a Chronic Illness

  • Using Expressive Arts Therapy exercises such as painting and drawing*

  • No previous art skills needed! Any art supplies welcome, from colored pencils to paint.

  • Gain social support from other chronically ill individuals in a similar age bracket

  • Queer friendly – led by Queer therapist, all members screened beforehand

Details

  • Who: Anyone in their 20s and 30s with a chronic illness
  • When: Wednesday Evenings 6-7pm, starting April 17th 
  • Where: Virtual
  • Fee: $50/week
  • 4-6 people maximum 

About the Therapist

The group will be led by Navpreet Chima, APCC, who has lupus herself, and has trained under a therapist with a Phd in Family Medicine and Therapy in providing tools for managing daily difficulties of living with a chronic illness.
